Death of Miss Sweet

Miss Elsa B. Sweet died yesterday at her home in Fairfax. She was an active member of the Dorcas Society, and a former member of the Fairfax Woman’s Club.

She had made her home in Fairfax for a number of years with her brother. She had been ill for some time with a complication of diseases although death was unexpected. She was a native of Illinois. She is survived by her brother, Archer Sweet.

The funeral services will be held tomorrow at 1:30 o’clock at the parlors of Keaton and Dusel.

An article in the next day’s paper reports that Rev. H. Price officiated at the services. She was a member of the White Shrine of the Order of Eastern Star of La Grange, Illinois. She had recently made an extended visit in the east and was ill ever since returning.
