Oscar J. Scheibe
Services will be held tomorrow for Oscar J. Scheibe, 59, who died in San Anselmo yesterday after a six-month illness.
Scheibe, who lived in San Anselmo for the past 16 years, was owner of a local bar and grill. Originally from Wisconsin, he was a member of San Rafael Aerie of Eagles and San Anselmo Lodge of Moose.
Surviving are Scheibe’s wife, Beatrice D. Scheibe; a son, Stanley Scheibe, of Pittsburgh, Pa.; two brothers, Emil Scheibe, of Petaluma, and Hugo Scheibe, of Marshfield, Wis.; two sisters, Mrs. Charles Oates, and Mrs. H. R. Bathrick, of Pasadena.
Friends are invited to the funeral Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Guy W. Jenness & Co., San Anselmo. Interment will be in Mt. Tamalpais Cemetery. The family requests that any memorial gifts be made as contributions to the American Cancer Society.
