Marcia Newcomb
Novato resident
Marcia Wilt Stone Newcomb died at her daughter’s home in Novato Feb. 3, 1997. She was 88.
A native of Philadelphia, Pa., she was a two-year resident of Novato and previously lived in Sonoma and other places throughout the country.
She worked in radio and ran a lemon and avocado ranch in Fallbrook. She later worked for a real estate company.
She was a lifelong member of Daughters of the American Revolution and the Sonoma Grand Slams bridge group.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan Stone Trumbull of Novato; and two grandchildren.
Services are 2 p.m. Feb. 15 at Sonoma United Methodist Church, 109 Patten St., Sonoma.
Memorial contributions may be made to the World Wildlife Fund, Pet Population Control Fund, P.O. Box 1908, Sonoma 95476; or any charity.
