Paid Death Notice
SOUSA - Steve E., passed away on Friday, April 23, 1999, in Santa Rosa, at the age of 63. Beloved husband of Marian Sousa, loving son of Emily and Steve Sousa; loving father of Steve Sousa, David Sousa, Debra Watts, Connie Bassignane, Jan Rovetti, Gordon Davis; grandfather of thirteen grandchildren. A native of Sacramento and a longtime resident of Santa Rosa. Steve served in the U.S. Navy from 1953 to 1957 during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Golden Ram Sportsman Club, Ducks Unlimited, N.R.A., Water Fowl USA, Delta Water Fowl, California Water Fowl, Teamster Union Retired, Black Point Game Bird Club; he loved to bird hunt. He was employed 32 years as a linen truck driver for American Linen. Donations in Steve's name may be made to the V.N.A. and Home Hospice of Northern California, 1110 N. Dutton Avenue, Santa Rosa, CA 95401.
Friends are invited to attend services on Wednesday, April 28, 1999, at 10 a.m. at St. Eugene's Cathedral, 2323 Montgomery Dr., Santa Rosa, CA. Vigil Rites will be Tuesday, April 27, 1999 at 7 p.m. at The Daniels Chapel of the Roses, 1225 Sonoma Ave., Santa Rosa, CA. Interment Santa Rosa Memorial Park.
