Mrs. Bergman Passes Away
Mrs. Mary A. Bergman passed away Tuesday at her home after a lingering illness. The funeral took place on Thursday. Funeral services were said in St. Mary Star of the Sea Church and prayers at the grave in Fernwood Cemetery. A large number of her friends attended the funeral. During her twenty odd years residence in Sausalito she won the high esteem of all that knew her.
She leaves two sons George W. and James B. Bergman to mourn her departure. She was the niece of Mrs. James Watson and cousin of James, Marguerite and Ezekiel Watson of Sausalito.

A beautiful monument placed over the grave of the mother of James and George Bergman in Fernwood Cemetery by Joseph Prader of San Francisco is of unusually excellent workmanship and is greatly admired by all. Many will see it on Decoration Day.
