Pioneer Woman Dead
Mrs. Christine Heebner, one of the earliest residents of southern Marin, passed away Tuesday at her home at Hilarita, near Tiburon, where she has resided for over fifty years. The funeral was held in San Rafael Friday. She was the wife of August Heebner, [and mother] of Mrs. M. Jacobson, Mrs. A. Wittersen, Mrs. L. Olsen, Mrs. R. Whiting, Mrs. L. McCombie and Theresa and Charles Heebner. She was born in Germany 76 years ago.

Death of Pioneer Resident of Marin
Mrs. Christine Heebener, wife of August Heebener, died of apoplexy at her home at Hilarita last Tuesday. Mrs. Heebener had resided in California for 50 years, the last 40 of which were spent at the beautiful home at Hilarita.
Deceased was a native of Germany, 76 years of age, the mother of Mrs. Jacobson, Mrs. Wittuson, Mrs. Olson, Mrs. Whiting, Mrs. McCombie, and Theresa, Elira and Charles Heebener.
The funeral will take place Friday afternoon from the parlors of Doctor Sawyer.
