EDGAR NELSON
Edgar L. Nelson, a 28-year Marin resident, died yesterday at his San Anselmo home. He was 65.
Nelson, a native of Omro, Wis., was a retired machinist for A. G. Schoonmaker in Sausalito and was a member of the San Rafael Lodge BPOE No. 1108, Operating Engineers’ Union, Local No. 3, and the Machinists Union, Local No. 238. Je was a naval veteran of World War II and served in the Pacific.
Nelson is survived by his wife, Eileen, of San Anselmo; a daughter, Jill Schrutz of Napa; a son, Jack T. Nelson of Cupertino; and a brother and sister, Howard Nelson and Doris Nordhaus, both of Oshkosh, Wis.
Private family services were held today at the Chapel of the Hills in San Anselmo.
