Funeral of Manuel Costa Took Place Here Wednesday
The funeral of the late Manuel Costa took place January 30th from the Catholic Church in Mill Valley. Mr. Costa has resided near the junction of Mill Valley and San Rafael county roads, and was well known and highly esteemed by all who knew him. A large number of his friends and fellow countrymen were in attendance, among them many of the members of the Council St. George Lodge, of which he was a valued member. Mr. Costa leaves a wife, son, and daughter, who will miss him sorely, as well as many staunch friends scattered throughout Southern Marin.

Local Notes
The funeral of Manuel Costa, who died last week at his home near Mill Valley junction, took place on January 30th. He was a member of the St. George Lodge, and leaves a widow and two children. He has been a resident of this county for several years, was a native of the Azores, and was 51 years of age.
