John Silva Buried.
The funeral of John Silva of Waldo Point took place Monday morning and interment at Fernwood cemetery. A high requiem mass was said for the repose of his soul by Rev. Father Valentine assisted by Rev. Fathers Walsh and Egan of San Rafael. A brass band headed the funeral and many of his friends followed.
Mr. Silva was born in the Azores sixty-two years ago and came to this county thirty-two years ago engaging in dairying. He leaves a wife who is a sister of Mrs. M. M. Viera.
