Funeral of Mrs. Borges
One of the longest funerals ever held in southern Marin County took place last Tuesday when Mrs. Maria M. Borges was laid to rest. The funeral started from the Borges home near Hilarita Station and proceeded around Richardson’s Bay to Sausalito. Fully 100 carriages were in line. The funeral services were held at the Catholic Church in Sausalito, Father Valentini officiating.

The Undertaker’s records give a death date of March 26 at age 42 years. She was a native of Portugal.
