Death Claims Pearl Mullaney
Pearl Mullaney died at the home of her parents in North Sausalito last Sunday. Her death was no surprise, as she has been in delicate health for several months. She was the daughter of John and Mary Mullaney and the sister of Edward and Thos. Mullaney and the sister of Mrs. Cora Dailey. About a year ago death claimed May, another sister. The funeral took place on Monday. The remains were taken from the family home and escorted to Saint Mary’s Church by friends of the family and almost all of the classmates of the deceased. The pallbearers were her little friends and schoolmates. They were: Hazel Jones, Mabel Wosser, Angelina Martol, Adele Frost, Alice McGuy and Emma Dukich. At the church a solemn High Mass was celebrated by Father Valentini, after which the remains were interred in the Sausalito Cemetery. The high esteem in which the dead child was held was amply testified to be the many beautiful floral pieces sent by kind friends. Deceased was fourteen years of age and a native of San Francisco.
