Seth Adam Langwell
Accomplished cyclist

Seth Adam Langwell, known by some as the "Wheelie King" for riding his bike on its rear wheel from Samuel Taylor Park to Fairfax with a police escort, died June 16 after a car accident in Petaluma. He was 28.

Mr. Langwell lived for the past year in Novato, but he had previously lived in Woodacre, where he spent much of his youth. He graduated from Drake High School in 1988.

He had been employed as a waiter and most recently was a journeyman plumber for a firm in Sonoma County.

His interests included soccer, snowboarding, bicycling and poetry.

He is survived by his mother, Joan O'Connor of Forest Knolls; his father, Jim Langwell of Russian River; his girlfriend, Rene Fosdick of San Rafael; stepfather, David O'Connor; stepmother, Chris Langwell; three brothers, Shawn of Petaluma, Kelly of Point Arena and Tyler of Russian River; and his grandmother, Pauline Langwell of Nipomo.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow at Roy's Redwoods in San Geronimo.
