PETER J. BERTONI
Retired escrow officer
Peter J. Bertoni of San Rafael died Monday, April 12, 1993, at Fifth Avenue Convalescent Hospital in San Rafael. He was 89.
Mr. Bertoni was a San Rafael native and graduated from San Rafael High School in 1922.
He was employed as an escrow officer for 50 years, working for a time for the California Marin Title Company and Marin Title Guarantee.
He was a member and past president of the Marin Rod and Gun Club.
Mr. Bertoni is survived by his wife of about 60 years, Mary Bertoni of San Rafael; a daughter, Vivian Homen of Mill Valley; a sister, Teresa Bettini of California; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Keaton’s Mortuary, 1022 E St., San Rafael.
Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.
