Mrs. Walsh Dies At 77 In Hospital
Martha M. Walsh, 77, a resident of San Rafael for more than half a century and widely known in Marin, died this morning in a local hospital after a short illness.
Mrs. Walsh was born in West Virginia, one of a family of 12 children. Three of her brothers survive – Will McIntosh of Marysville, and Howard and Jim McIntosh, both of Ohio.
Mrs. Walsh was the mother of Les Walsh, local commercial photographer, and Charles E. Walsh, owner of the Television Center in San Rafael. Her husband, John T. Walsh, for many years a towerman for the Northwestern Pacific Railroad, died about five years ago.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Keaton’s in San Rafael. Inurnment will be private.
