OPAL B. PETERSON
A memorial service for Opal B. Peterson of Corvallis, Ore., a former resident of Mill Valley, has been held in Corvallis. Mrs. Peterson died unexpectedly of a heart attack in Corvallis on Jan. 5.
She was born in Oregon and lived in Mill Valley for more than 40 years before moving to Corvallis five years ago.
She was the widow of Van Peterson, a real estate broker, who died about 20 years ago.
She is survived by three daughters, Susan Hoots of Roanoke, Va., Jane Johnson of Corvallis and Sister Velma Deane of Three Forks, Mont., and five grandchildren.
