KENNETH W. GRIMM
Kenneth W. Grimm, longtime Petaluma photography studio owner, died Monday at a local hospital after a lengthy illness. He was 67.
A native of Cotati, Grimm had lived in Petaluma for many years. Before becoming a photographer, he had worked 15 years as an auto mechanic and was service manager of the Buick dealership in Petaluma.
In 1953 Grimm joined his wife, Anna, in operating Decker’s Studio. They specialized in family portraits, weddings and high school graduation photographs.
The Grimms retired from the business in 1975.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two brothers, Edwin Murphy of Petaluma and Harold Murphy of Santa Rosa.
A private funeral for the family will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Parent Funeral Chapel, Petaluma. Entombment will be at Cypress Hill Memorial Park.
