Death of Mrs. William Magee

The San Francisco daily papers have devoted much space lately to the disappearance of Mrs. William Magee, a life-long resident of San Rafael, who recently disappeared from where she was being treated for a mental malady in San Francisco. Down near Colma, in San Mateo County, a half-robed body was found, long dead, and was recognized as the remains of the unfortunate woman for whom a search was being instituted. The remains were brought to San Rafael Tuesday morning for interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, the funeral services taking place at 10 a.m. in St. Raphael's Church. Despite the rain, a great many friends were present to say a prayer over the bier of the one they loved so well. She leaves a husband and 2 children to mourn her loss.

The pallbearers were Messrs. Wm. J. Boyd, S.A. Pacheco, A.E. Scott, George Murray, Louis A. Hughes, and Joseph Sullivan, all of whom have known the unfortunate for the past 25 years.
