Brief Local Notes
Mr. and Mrs. Bailey Millard returned from their trip to the coast earlier than they expected to when they left home. Mr. MILLARD's mother departed this life at San Jose on the 7th instant after a long illness. The funeral services were held at her late residence in San Jose last Thursday. Her husband, 4 sons, 2 daughters and several grandchildren survive her. She had been a sufferer from heart trouble for more than 2 years.
