Death of a Pioneer Lady
Mrs. Cordelia Osborn, mother of Mrs. Ira H. Parks, died at the home of Mr. Parks in San Rafael on Tuesday, September 30, after many months' illness. She was a native of Westfield, Mass., and was 68 years of age at the time of her death. She was the mother of William Osborn, Arthur Osborn, Mrs. Ira H. Parks, Mrs. J.S. McDaniel, and Mrs. J. Roseer. The remains were interred in the Tomales Cemetery, probably today, Thursday. Mrs. Osborn went to Tomales about 1860 and was for many years an honored resident of that section of the county.
