George F. Fossey Dies In Hospital
George Francis Fossey, retired clerk and Marin resident for the past three years, died yesterday at a local hospital after a long illness. He was born in England 78 years ago.
Fossey lived at 23 Stetson avenue, Kentfield. He was the husband of the late Mrs. Adelaide Lillian Fossey, and a member of Richmond Lodge 375, F&AM.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Audrey L. Rowe of Kentfield; a son, George E. Fossey; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Wisby, Mrs. Elizabeth Glasson, Jessie Sturkee and Laurah Bours; a brother, Harry E. Fossey, and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Ashley and McMullen Mortuary, 4200 Geary boulevard, San Francisco, under auspices of Richmond Masonic Lodge, followed by inurnment at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that he was the grandfather of Diane Fossey and Joyce and Kenneth Smith.
