MARY S. HANEY
Dies After Illness
Funeral services will be held tomorrow for Mrs. Mary S. Haney, 68, of Mill Valley, who died yesterday at a local hospital after a long illness.
Services will be at 8:15 a.m. at the Harry M. Williams Mortuary in San Rafael, with Requiem Mass at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Mill Valley, at 9. Rosary will be recited tonight at 8 at the mortuary.
Mrs. Haney, a native of the Azores Islands, had lived in Mill Valley for 35 years, making her home at 107 Walnut avenue. She was the widow of Joseph B. Haney, Mill Valley grocer.
She was a member of Mill Valley Council 116, UPPEC; Mill Valley Council 127, SPRSI, and Our Lady of Fatima of Sausalito.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy R. Smith of Mountain View; a son, Richard Haney of Sacramento; a brother, Antonio Pashouto of Stockton, and five grandchildren.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that she was the grandmother of Bonnie L. and Gregory Smith, Margaret Ann, Janet and Gary Haney.
