Walter Hart Passed Away
The many friends of Mr. and Mrs. M.J. Hart of 215 Sixth Ave., were grieved to learn of sudden death of their little son Walter Hart. Four weeks ago it was noticed that his shoulder was dislocated and upon inquiry, Mrs. Hart was informed that a couple of days previous he had fallen from a wagon. A few days later, he complained of his hip and then a complication of trouble was quite evident. The physician feared internal injury and after consultation last Friday night, an operation was deemed necessary as a last resort. The operation was successful, but the weakened condition of the child was against him, and he passed away Monday morning.
Little Walter was a native of San Francisco, 6 years and 4 months old. He was an unusually large, bright, promising child, and his untimely death is a sad blow to the relatives and their many friends.
The funeral took place from the undertaking parlors at 1171 Mission Street, Wednesday morning. The interment was at Holy Cross Cemetery. The little casket was surrounded by a large number of beautiful floral pieces and quantities of choice flowers. His little boy companions were pallbearers.
Mr. and Mrs. Hart and little daughter Louise have the sympathy of the community in their sad bereavement.
