BEYER, Debra Aileen, 48, of San Rafael, passed away August 29, 2001. Mt. Tamalpais Cemetery-Mortuary, San Rafael, 415-459-2500.
Debra Aileen Beyer, A Resident of San Rafael
Age 48, died at home on August 29, 2001 surrounded by loved ones after a courageous six year hi-tech battle against cancer. Fiercely independent, she was able to balance a lifelong legal secretary career and raising a family. An outdoors woman, she loved photography, sketching, kayaking, rock hounding, and road trips to various beautiful places to do them. Indoors, her passions were needlepoint and other crafts. Part of a five generation Marin family, her love of community is proven by her large collection of volunteer "T" shirts from many Marin and Bay Area events.
She will be missed, especially by her mother, Rosina Beyer; her son, Shane Beyer; her brothers, Richard, John and Dan Beyer; and her husband, John Vonderlin. May her happy feet be dancing in Heaven. Private service pending.
