Edw. J. Healy, Well Known San Rafael Man, Dies Suddenly

Edward J. Healy, San Rafael business man who passed away unexpectedly last Sunday, was buried Wednesday, following funeral service at the Keaton and Dusel chapel, and St. Raphael’s church, where Mass was celebrated. Interment was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Mr. Healy contracted a cold the early part of last week which failed to respond to the usual treatment. Alarming symptoms from which pneumonia quickly developed proved fatal.

Mr. Healy for a number of years conducted a haberdashery in San Rafael, but for the past several years has operated a billiard parlor at Fourth and Cijos streets.

Deceased was a native of Vermont, aged 52 years. He was a World War veteran and a member of Wilkins Post, American Legion.

Mr. Healy was the husband of Claire Healy, son of the late John and Ellen Healy; brother of Mrs. John Morton, John Healy, the late Minnie Sheehan and Frank Healy, a former accountant in the old Cheda Bank.
