CECIL E. CLARK
Cecil Emmet Clark, 69, a former resident of Marin, died yesterday in a Walnut Creek hospital after a long illness.
A native of Nebraska, he moved to Marin in 1937 and lived in Bolinas and Sausalito until moving nine years ago to Concord.
Clark was a retired chemical worker. He formerly worked at the Chemical and Pigment Co. in Port Chicago.
He was a member of the Woodmen of the World No. 145, Laurel Group, Walnut Creek.
He is survived by his wife, Amy; four children, Laura Lennie of Santa Clara, Bonna Durden of Perry, Fla., Avis Bourne of Bolinas and Cecil Wayne Clark of Alexandria, Va.; a sister, Edith Faubel of San Anselmo; a brother, Roscoe of Carson, N.D.; 18 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Keaton’s Mortuary, 1022 E Street, San Rafael. Burial will be private. His family asked that memorial contributions go to the Cancer Society.
