LINCOLN G. HOLMGREN

Funeral was today for Lincoln G. Holmgren of San Francisco who for the past two years had run real estate training schools in Marin for Century 21 Real Estate. Burial followed at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park.

Holmgren collapsed Friday at the Tiburon Lodge and died a short time later at Marin General Hospital. Cause of death has not been determined, according to the Marin County Coroner’s Office, but Holmgren had suffered from heart problems in the past. He was 48.

A native of San Francisco, Holmgren was reared and attended public schools there.

After a stint in the Coast Guard he attended the University of San Francisco. He married in 1947 and with his wife, Barbara, reared four children.

He was associated with several San Francisco real estate firms prior to becoming the marketing director for Century 21 Real Estate in 1971.

He was a member of the First Covenant Church, past president of the California Real Estate Association and the San Francisco Real Estate Board …(illegible line) … California Conference of the Covenant Church.

He is survived by his wife Barbara, of San Francisco; sons, Michael and ..(illegible) .. Holmgren, both of San Francisco; two daughters, Bobbi Wa(sh?)ington of Menlo Park and (..lla) Niles of San Francisco and six grandchildren.
