RICHARD H. LEIGHTON
Novato resident
Richard Howard Leighton died Dec. 31 at his home in Novato. He was 53.
He was born in Palo Alto. He lived in Santa Rosa before moving to Novato in 1976.
Mr. Leighton worked for many years as a lumber salesman for Georgia-Pacific in Fremont.
He enjoyed reading and television.
He is survived by a daughter, Wendi Rogers of Idaho; his mother and stepfather, Gladys and Wilbert Jerdon of Grass Valley; a brother, Reginald Leighton of Novato; and a sister, Betty Thomas of Petaluma.
Private services will be held.
