Private Services For Herzog Today
Private funeral services were to be held today for Sigfried K. Herzog Sr., a pioneer Marin businessman, who died at his San Rafael home Wednesday.
Herzog, 79, was the second mayor of San Rafael and is credited with starting Marin’s first certified dairy and the Marin Ice Co. He died at his home at 930 Fifth avenue.
Services were to be held at Sinai Memorial Chapel in San Francisco. Inurnment was to follow at Home of Peace Cemetery.
