Mother Follows Babe To Grave

Mrs. Ida Martha Farley, whose new born babe was buried three weeks ago, passed away Monday morning in a Petaluma hospital. Her illness had been marked for some time prior to the birth of the child, and following that event her health failed rapidly.

The sad affair has touched deeply a great circle of friends and left desolate a sorrowing husband, Maylon C. Farley. Just six weeks ago the deceased lost a sister, Mrs. M. C. Struxia, by death.

Before her marriage in 1917, she was Miss Ida Sauer, of San Francisco. Six months after her wedding her husband was called into service. He served overseas and was engaged in several of the critical actions. She was 22 years of age and is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Sauer and a sister, Mrs. A. G. Beazell.

The husband is the son of Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Farley, prominent residents of Nicasio, and a member of the pioneer Marin county family.

The funeral was held today under the direction of the F. E. Sawyer Company of San Rafael.
