CHARLES W. GOODWIN, Jr.
Charles W. Goodwin Jr. of Hillsborough, father of Polly Seastrom of San Anselmo, died yesterday at a Burlingame hospital following a two-month illness.
Goodwin, 74, district manager with General Electric Supply Co., San Francisco, for 48 years, was born in San Francisco and had lived in Hillsborough for 12 years.
On retirement from the electric company, he became a registered representative with Paine, Webber, Jackson and Curtis, San Francisco stock brokers, and worked there until his illness.
Goodwin was a member of the California Golf Club, San Francisco Rotary Club and the Bohemian Club of San Francisco.
He is survived by his wife, Polly Goodwin; his daughter, Polly; four brothers, Lloyd, William and Percy, all of San Francisco, and Dr. Arthur Goodwin of Stockton; two sisters, Marion Marshall of Los Angeles and Laura Goodman of Berkeley. He is also survived by three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Colonial Mortuary of Crosby N. Gray and Co., Burlingame. Inurnment is private.
