PAULA SCHUMACHER

Private services for Paula Schumacher, 81, of Mill Valley were held Friday at Daphne Funerals, Forte Madera.

Mrs. Schumacher died Friday at a local convalescent hospital after an illness of three months.

She was a native of Germany who lived for 35 years in San Francisco. She lived for two years near Rio Nido on the Russian River before moving to Marin three months ago.

She was the widow of Harry Schumacher, a general contractor who died in May. They had been married for 50 years.

Mrs. Schumacher is survived by three sons, G. Ralph Schumacher of Marinwood, Herbert J. Schumacher of Sebastopol, and Claus H. Schumacher of Saratoga.

The family prefers memorial contributions to the German School of San Francisco.
