Sudden Death Takes Well Known Man

The funeral of John Vollers, well known young San Rafael man, was held yesterday from the parlors of Stephen Eden.

Death occurred last Sunday evening following an acute attack of kidney trouble, which seized the sufferer at his home. He was immediately removed to the Cottage Hospital where he passed away a short time later.

He is survived by a widow, Mrs. Vida Vollers, and two children, Ruth and Jack Vollers. He was a brother of Mrs. Bertha Lundquist, and a nephew of Al. Vollers and H. C. Gieske. He had lived here a number of years and was a member of the San Rafael Volunteer Fire Department and Tamalpais Grove of the Druids. He was 34 years of age.

Vollers for a number of years was employed at the Grosjean & Co. store and had also worked for his uncle, H. C. Gieske, at the corner of Second and B streets.
