Harry Happersberger Drops Dead Of Heart Attack At Fairfax Mill

Harry Happersberger, superintendent of the cabinet shop at Fairfax Lumber Co., died shortly after he was stricken by a heart attack while working today.

He had been under a physician’s care for some time for treatment of a heart condition. He is said to have been advised by his doctor yesterday that he should go to a hospital immediately, but disagreed with the warning because he “had to go to work.”

He was 50 years old and had been employed at the lumber yard for some 20 years.

Funeral services are to be held from Harry M. William’s mortuary, San Rafael, Friday at 10 a.m.

Happersberger leaves his widow, Josephine F.; a daughter, Beverly Regalia; two grandchildren, Dona and Stephen Regalia; and a brother, Frank.

A veteran of World War I, he was a member of San Anselmo post no. 179, American Legion. He also belonged to the cabinet makers union, San Rafael.

The Happersbergers moved to San Rafael a short time ago after living many years in Fairfax.
