FLOYD M. SCHAFER Dies At 76

Requiem Mass was offered this morning for Floyd M. (Dick) Schafer, a retired businessman of San Anselmo, at St. Rita’s Church in Fairfax.

He died Saturday at his home on Oak Knoll Road in San Anselmo after a long illness. He was 76.

He was a native of Rochester, N. Y. and lived in Marin County for the past 20 years. He formerly operated a frozen food storage company. He was a member of St. Rita’s Men’s Club.

He is survived by his wife, Helen M. Schafer of Oak Knoll Road, San Anselmo.

Interment was at Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma. Rosary services were held yesterday at 8 p.m. at Chapel of the Hills in San Anselmo.
