CARLOS MAAS
Carolos J. Maas, industrialist and a director of the Sausalito Land and Ferry Co., died yesterday in a San Francisco hospital. He was 73.
He was a native of Eau Claire, Wis., and moved to San Francisco in 1904.
Maas was principal owner of the Judson Steel Corp. for more than 40 years. Among other business interests, he was an officer in the Bothin Real Estate Co., a board member with the Pacific National Bank, and an advisory board member with Security Pacific National Bank.
He is survived by his wife, Roberta; a son, Carolos Jr.; two daughters, Millicent Maas Dunham, and Diana Maas Pebbley, all of San Francisco; two brothers, Donald and Henry Maas of Hillsborough, and five grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held tomorrow at 11 a.m. in Grace Cathedral, San Francisco.
