Prison Inmate Succumbs to TB
A 38-year-old San Quentin Prison inmate died in the prison tuberculosis ward yesterday from complications of pulmonary tuberculosis, the prison reported.
Bert House, who was serving a 15-year sentence for burglary committed in Butte County, had been in the prison hospital for about three years.
Funeral arrangements are pending word from relatives, who reside in the Middle West.
