C. E. GILLELAND

Private funeral was held today for Clement Eugene Gilleland of Sausalito.

He died yesterday in a local hospital after a long illness.

Born in Georgia 67 years ago, Gilleland came to California 40 years ago. He was a retired statistician for California Casualty Co. for whom he worked for 22 years.

He leaves no immediate family.

Inurnment was in Mount Tamalpais Cemetery, San Rafael.

A Death Notice in the same paper mentions that he was the cousin of Isabelle Mark (? hard to read) and Daniel Nunnelly. Keaton’s Mortuary, San Rafael, handled arrangements.
