Edmund W. Griffin

Funeral services were scheduled today for San Rafael resident Edmund W. Griffin in the Mission San Rafael Arcangel in San Rafael.

Griffin died Saturday in a local hospital. A native of California, he was 89.

He was a member of the San Rafael Elks Lodge, Mount Tamalpais Parlor, N.S.G.W. and the Carpenters Union.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Joan Griffin of San Rafael; a daughter, Evelyn Harper; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Burial was planned in Mount Olivet Cemetery in San Rafael.

The family prefers that memorial contributions be made to St. Anthony’s Dining Room in San Francisco.
