John Fostine

Funeral for John Fostine, 78, of Stockton, former Mill Valley resident, was held Saturday in Stockton.

Fostine died last Wednesday after a long illness. He was a retired truck driver and had lived in Stockton 42 years. A native of Mill Valley, he had resided in Marin until 1929.

He is survived by his wife, Marie Fostine of Stockton; a son, Alvin Fostine of Stockton; three brothers, Henry, Manuel and Gerry Fostine, all of Mill Valley and two sisters, Belle Ward and Frances Borgwardt, both of Mill Valley.

Burial was in San Joaquin Cemetery, Stockton.
