ROSCOE CLARK
Retired blacksmith Roscoe Clark, 61, died at 4:30 a.m. today in his home at 690 Roselle Way, apparently of a heart attack, Coroner Frank J. Keaton's office reported.
Clark had been under a doctor's care for more than seven years with palsy and arthritis, and last night complained of chest pains. His wife, Margaret, summoned a doctor early today, who pronounced Clark dead when he arrived.
An autopsy was to be performed.
Clark, a native of Maine and a World War I Army veteran, had lived in California for 45 years, but only seven months in San Rafael. Before retirement, he was a longtime employee at Hunters Point Naval Shipyard in San Francisco. He is survived only by his wife.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Halsted and Co. mortuary in San Francisco.
