Marin Co. Deed Book C, page 272: 28 Oct. 1859.
John De Fries and Elizabeth De Fries his wife of Marin Co. to Oliver Irwin....for $200...land commencing at a stake driven into the ground at the SW corner of Jacks fence at a point on the north side of the road running from San Rafael to Leveques 7 yards east of the arroyo...[same description as in C-163 - clg].. containing ___acres...excepting therefrom 2 square acres in the SW corner of said tract heretofore sold to Henry T. Jones by deed dated Nov. 10, 1857 and recorded in Book C, page 164...
